BASIC TENS MACHINE

This portable unit is exactly what you need for pain relief. Though it's name has nothing to do with the number ten, its lengthy name Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation explains it's function. The TENS unit works by delivering small electrical impulses through the adhesive electrodes, flooding the nervous system, reducing its ability to transmit pain signals to the brain.

The TENS unit is easy to set up, simple to control, compact and portable. Using the TENS is a non invasive way to reduce your pain, with the potential to allow you to decrease your pain medication, if not come off of it all together.

The TENS unit comes equipped with a clip so you can wear it on your belt or in your pocket, around your house while doing your chores. It is small and relatively discreet.

While the TENS unit is safe for most people, there are some MAJOR contraindications in which we would never suggest a TENS unit. For example, those who have a pacemaker will not be allowed to use the TENS as the electrical impulses can interfere with the pacemaker. There are other contraindicators as well, so please make sure you speak to a professional before using a TENS unit.
