Psychotherapy Brantford

Psychotherapy at Kneaded Care is a space to slow down, breathe, and finally make sense of what you've been holding onto. Whether it's anxiety, a big life change, or the quiet exhaustion of always showing up for everyone else, support is here.

What is Psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy is a collaborative, evidence-informed process where you and a Registered Psychotherapist work together to understand what's going on beneath the surface, whether that's anxious thoughts that won't quiet down, a relationship that feels harder than it should, or a version of yourself you're trying to find again.

At Kneaded Care, therapy isn't clinical or intimidating. It's a conversation with someone trained to listen closely, ask the right questions, and help you build real, practical tools you can actually use. This isn't about being "fixed." It's about being understood, supported, and equipped.

Meet Ashley Glassco, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Ashley has been supporting adults through life's harder chapters since 2023. She works with people navigating anxious thoughts, life transitions, relationship and breakup stress, work or school pressure, and the ongoing effort of trying to maintain balance without burning out.

Ashley's approach is warm and grounded. She meets you exactly where you are, no judgment, no pressure to have it all figured out, and helps you build a path forward that actually fits your life.

Ashley's areas of focus include:

  • Chronic pain support — because living with pain affects more than the body, and processing that impact matters

  • Life transitions, anxiety, stress and burnout — for anyone feeling stretched thin, overwhelmed, or unsure of their next step

  • People-pleasing tendencies — learning to set boundaries and show up for yourself, not just everyone else

  • Caregiver support — for the people who spend so much energy caring for others that their own needs get pushed aside.

Ashley's Hours

  • Wednesdays: 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM (in-person)

  • Fridays: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (virtual only)

Spots with Ashley are limited, and they fill quickly. If you've been thinking about starting therapy, now is a great time to reach out.

Who Can Benefit from Psychotherapy?

You don't need a crisis to justify therapy. Many of the people Ashley works with are simply adults (18+) who are tired, stretched, or ready for a change. You might benefit from psychotherapy if you're:

  • Feeling anxious more often than you'd like to admit

  • Going through a major life change (a move, a new job, a loss, a new chapter)

  • Coming out of a breakup or navigating a hard relationship

  • Overwhelmed by school, work, or the mental load of everyday life

  • Caring for someone else and running low on your own reserves

  • Living with chronic pain and its emotional weight

  • Someone who says yes to everyone but yourself

  • Simply looking to feel more like yourself again

Life doesn't always leave room to drive across town for an appointment, and Ashley knows that. That's why she offers both in-person sessions and secure virtual sessions from wherever you are.

In-Person and Virtual Sessions Available

  • Your schedule is tight and travel time isn't realistic

  • You feel most comfortable opening up from a familiar space, like home

  • You're managing chronic pain or mobility challenges that make travel harder

  • You live outside Brantford but still want a therapist who feels local and understands the community

  • You simply prefer the privacy and ease of logging in from wherever you are

Virtual sessions are just as personal and supportive as in-person ones. All you need is a private space and a stable internet connection.
