Spend a Day at the Clinic With Us!

Hello! Welcome to Kneaded Care Wellness. Upon entry you’ll see our lovely Client Care Coordinators who will welcome you with big smiles and some with big voices too. ;) If you have extended health coverage (EHC), upon checking you into the clinic, the team at the desk will get started on submitting for you right away. So, if you have any gift cards or requests surrounding payment please tell them first thing. This helps both of us! Did you come early and were hoping to pay for your session beforehand? Not a problem, but please remember if we have to submit through your extended health coverage, we will need a few minutes to do this to know what your remaining balance is. We always appreciate your understanding and patience as submitting can take a moment.

We now offer many different disciplines in the clinic and depending on which you are here for, the welcoming process may be different. If you are one of the lucky ones who was able to get in for a massage, well first of all, lucky you- our massage therapists are some very popular ladies and have extremely full schedules. While you wait in the foyer the Client Coordinators will confirm all of the required paperwork has been completed beforehand, while your massage therapist sanitises her table and sets it with fresh sheets for you. Do you have a music preference during your massage? Don’t be shy to let your therapist know! Once you get into the room your therapist will have a brief chat about the area you would like to focus on, areas of pain, etc. and then step out of the room to allow you to change and get on the table. Then the treatment begins!

Here for a Physiotherapy assessment? Oh no, that means something is hurting, but you’ve come to the right place! After confirming your initial paperwork has been completed, our Client Care Coordinators will ask you what body part and/or what injury you are in for, so they can give you a form called an outcome measure to complete as per your Physiotherapist’s request. These forms may not seem important at first, but they help your therapist give you a proper diagnosis. Answer all of the questions to give your clinician as much information as possible. After all of the paperwork has been completed, your Physiotherapist will lead you into their private, one-on-one treatment room offering you privacy by closing their door if requested and their undivided attention to complete a thorough assessment. At the end of your hour session, your Physiotherapist will have a more comprehensive understanding surrounding your pain and/or injury and will have made a plan of care (POC) tailored to your specific needs. Now it’s time to take your POC out to the front desk and one of the Client Care Coordinators will get you set up with your follow up appointments and take payment if needed. We definitely recommend booking out your entire prescribed POC so we can confirm you are getting your preferred time and day. We can always reschedule or cancel if need be by following our cancellation policy, but it’s a lot trickier getting you booked last minute.

Not your initial Physio assessment, but your initial Chiropractic assessment today? Wonderful! Your paperwork is complete and you’ve given the Client Coordinators any insurance you may have, so you are ready to follow Dr. Lee to his private, one-on-one treatment room where you will receive a thorough one hour long assessment, as well as some treatment depending on the extent of your diagnosis. If appropriate, Dr. Lee will make up a POC with you where he prescribes follow-up appointments and, one more time if I haven't said it enough ;), we definitely encourage booking those appointments with the team out front before leaving.

Decided to go the Osteopathy route this time? Great choice! By the time you have arrived at the clinic for your hour long assessment, your paperwork should be completed and the Front Desk Team will get started on submitting for you if you have EHC. Please keep in mind, we are not able to directly submit for our Osteopathy services with a number of popular insurance companies. This is beyond our control and any outstanding balances are required to be paid upon finishing your appointment. We appreciate your understanding. Your therapist will make his way out to the foyer to guide you back to his one-on-one private treatment room where a complete assessment will take place, as well as, treatment based on your diagnosis. Aidan will then finalise your appointment by recommending follow up treatments, but will leave it up to you to choose how long of a follow up you prefer. We offer thirty minutes, forty five minutes, and sixty minutes. Take your pick! Get these appointments booked with the front desk to ensure we schedule what works for you.

If you are visiting the clinic for a follow-up appointment; whether that be for any four of our services, you will know the drill! Check in at the front desk and your therapist will be out to get you. If you have to book another appointment, you can always ask your therapist what they recommend. For example, your therapist may want to see you weekly, but if you are progressing really well it may change to every two weeks. We will always encourage booking before you leave the clinic because getting your preferred day and time is not always easy and we want to be able to accommodate your schedule restrictions.

While you are in the clinic, you will have access to two restrooms and a water machine that offers fresh, cold water at all times. As well, while you sit in the foyer waiting for your appointment time, a television display of what is happening in our clinic and who all is part of the Kneaded Care team will be on for your viewing. We encourage you to watch so you can be informed on what is happening in the clinic and what is up-coming.

We thank you for choosing Kneaded Care as your #OneStopWellnessShop and are honoured to be part of #YourHealthYourStory!
